The City of Windom has scheduled the yearly pet vaccination clinic for Thursday, May 16, 2024 at City Hall between the hours of 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Becky Dillon DVM will be here to vaccinate your pets. Prices are the same as last year.

It shall be unlawful for any owner, agent, lessee, tenant or other person occupying or having charge or control of any premises to permit weeds to remain upon said premises or any area between the property lines of said premises and the centerline of any adjacent street or alley, including but not specifically limited to sidewalks, streets, alleys, easements, rights-of-way and all other areas, public or private. All weeds as hereinafter defined are hereby declared a nuisance and are subject to abatement as hereinafter provided. (Code 1998)

City Hall is open to the public!
If you have items of a historic nature for display at City Hall please contact us. We are also looking for more display cases to display items and keep them safe. Windom has a rich history and we are happy to display items for the public to view. If you wish to view them when the clerk is not in, please contact us and we will make every effort to open up City Hall for you.
Windom Kansas has been named a 2020 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of its commitment to effective urban forest management.
Windom City Ordinance number 276
Section 1:
(A.) "All-Terrain Vehicle" means any motorized non-highway vehicle 65 inches or less in width, having a dry weight of 2,300 pounds or less, traveling on 3 or more low-pressure tires, having a seat designed to be straddled by the operator; No 3-wheelers will be permitted.

Section 2:
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate an All-Terrain vehicle upon any street, alley, roadway, highway, right-of-way, public way or public place within the City of Windom, Kansas.
